Ramayana's post-credit scenes introduce Sunny Deol as Hanuman and Raghav Juyal as Meghnath

Ramayana: Part 1, directed by Nitesh Tiwari, opened in theatres worldwide on November 5. Viewers who stay past the credits see Sunny Deol's first appearance as Hanuman, shown flying with a mace and calling out Jai Shri Ram, with his face kept hidden. A Hanuman Chalisa rendition features several singers. The makers have not yet revealed his full look.

Raghav Juyal also appears towards the climax as Meghnath, the eldest son of Ravana, with kohl-lined eyes and a fierce bearing. Known as Indrajit, Meghnath is one of the epic's mightiest warriors.

Ramayana: Part 2 will now arrive in 2028, a year later than the 2027 window first planned. Producer Namit Malhotra said the extra time is meant to give the concluding chapter the scale it requires.
